Klas Dahlberg joining from Nibe Industrier, to take over by next July
Malmo, Sweden – Hexpol AB has appointed Klas Dahlberg as CEO and president of the group to replace Georg Brunstam who passed away in September.
Dahlberg, currently head of 'indoor climate control' company Nibe Climate Solutions, will take up the top role by 1 July 2024, Hexpol announced 19 Dec.
He has been with the Sweden-based Nibe since 2016, taking over the helm at Nibe Climate Solutions two year later.
Dahlberg had previously worked at Scania for 30 years, where he gained responsibility for the Swedish transportation group's buses & coaches division.
Holding a masters degree in engineering from Lund University, Sweden, Dahlberg has lived and worked in Germany for many years.
Hexpol expects to tap Dahlberg’s “substantial international experience and tested leadership skills” for its strategic development, said Hexpol AB chairman Alf Goeransson.
The group, noted Goeransson, is focused on expansion through acquisitions, organic growth and development of advanced polymer solutions with improved sustainable footprint.
