Recircle tire recycling awards list

Bologna, Italy – Michelin, Scandinavian Enviro Systems, Marangoni and Vipal were among the winners of Recircle Awards 2023, which recognises contributions to the tire circular economy.

The winners of this year’s awards, in 20 categories, were announced at a ceremony held 16 Nov during the Futurmotive Expo & Talks in Bologna, Italy.

Category awards, as chosen by 6,500 individual voters, went to:

• Best passenger retreader: Fedima
• Best truck & bus retreader: Marangoni
• Best OTR retreader: Marangoni
• Best EPR Scheme: Valorpneu
• Best tire recycling research project: Blackcycle
• Best tread rubber supplier: Vipal
• Best retreading equipment supplier: Vipal Machinery
• Best tire recycling industry supplier: Fornnax
• Best tire derived recycled product: Michelin
• Best retreading accessory and consumables supplier: Vipal
• Tire pyrolysis award: Scandinavian Enviro Systems
• Tire devulcanisation award: Tyromer Inc.
• Mechanical tire recycling award: Duramos SAS
• Employee of the year award: Fabricio Nedeff (Vipal)
• Best company director: Matthias Leppert (Marangoni)
• Business breakthrough award: Black Star
• Spirit of retreading award: Tyresoles
• Industry achievement award for the tire retreading sector: Presti Industries
• Industry achievement award for the tire recycling sector: Regom
• Lifetime achievement award in the tire recycling sector: Jean-Paul Bouysset
