Lincoln, Nebraska – Monolith, a producer of carbon black via the methane pyrolysis process, has recently promoted Amy Ostermeyer to chief development officer, the company has announced.
Ostermeyer joined Monolith as vice president of HR in 2018 and was promoted to executive vice president of development in 2021.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a juris doctorate from the University of Nebraska.
In her five years with the company, Ostermeyer “has been instrumental in growing the Monolith team, tripling the company’s footprint in Nebraska,” said the company's 5 Oct announcement.
She has also, it noted, established strong relationships with customers; development partners; local, state and federal officials; and regulatory agencies.
“Amy has consistently set a high standard for anything she takes on... her growth-oriented mindset [has helped] to drive our strategy forward,” said Rob Hanson, co-founder and CEO, Monolith.
In her new role, Ostermeyer is to lead the company’s carbon black and hydrogen product sales and marketing teams and spearhead Monolith’s efforts around market-driven product development efforts.
Monolith is currently expanding production capacity, with its Olive Creek 1 and with Olive Creek 2 units coming online, according to the announcement.
