Philippe Oberti will also serve as Chinese tire maker’s deputy general manager
Qingdao, China - Qingdao Sentury Tire Co. has appointed Philippe Oberti, a former Michelin and Giti Tire manager, as deputy general manager and director of R&D centre.
In an announcement 12 Oct, the Chinese tire maker said the French national formerly served as a tire design expert and OEM development manager at Michelin.
Oberti, it added, has also previously held the role of executive VP and head of R&D centre at Giti Tire Indonesia and VP of R&D at Hankook Tire.
