Michelin names new commercial director for Spain, Portugal

Madrid - Michelin Espana Portugal SA has named Alexandre Hennion as its new commercial director, effective 1 Dec 2023.

He replaces Antonio Crespo, who held the since November 2020 and is retiring after four decades of professional career within the group, Michelin announced 9 Jan.

With his “deep knowledge of the market and his strategic approach”, Alexandre Hennion is tasked to ‘energise’ Michelin's growth and to further strengthen the company's “leadership position in the global market”.

Hennion, according to Michelin, has “extensive experience” in the tire sector and has held various positions at Michelin Colombia, France, South Africa and Thailand between 1998 and 2018,

He became B2B sales director of Euromaster in the Netherlands in December 2018 and as of June 2019, he was in charge of the commercial management of Euromaster France, before his return to Michelin.
