Warsaw – Sanok Rubber has expanded its operations with the acquisition of Finland-based rubber parts maker Teknikum Group, the Polish rubber products manufacturer has announced.
Based in Sastamala, southern Finland, Teknikum operates four production plants in Finland and one facility in Hungary, Sanok announced in December.
Sanok did not provide transaction details but said the Finnish group generates revenue of around €70 million and earnings (EBITDA) of €7 million per year.
Teknikum's product portfolio includes specialised industrial hoses, including those for cleaning systems used in the mining industry.
The group also produces rubber compounds, moulded rubber, silicone and plastics products for technical applications, and components to protect industrial equipment against wear and corrosion.
