Datwyler appoints healthcare distribution partner in the UK

Altdorf, Switzerland – Datwyler is teaming up with Conserva UK to establish a supply-chain for pharmaceutical primary packaging in the UK market.

The strategic alliance aims to enhance Datwyler's presence in the UK, through leveraging Conserva UK as the primary point of contact for their customer base.

The product range covers various areas, with core product groups that include stoppers and aluminium seals for vial applications, plungers and needle shields for pre-filled syringe applications and seals and plungers for cartridges.

Furthermore, the portfolio includes fluoropolymer spray and film coated stoppers and plungers for the healthcare segment, the Swiss group said in December.

The products, according to Datwyler, are designed to ensure drug and packaging stability, compatibility, and container closure integrity, "meeting the stringent standards of the healthcare industry."
