Ambassador to China briefed on latest technology, including production of ‘liquid rubber’ tires
Qingdao, China – Sailun Group has been officially invited to “invest and start a business” to produce tires in South Africa, the Chinese tire maker has reported.
The invitation was extended by South Africa's ambassador to China, Xie Shengwen, during a recent visit to Sailun’s production facility in Qingdao, Shenyang.
As part of the tour, Xie Shengwen and delegation were briefed on the tire maker's work to build an integrated supply-chain model, said its 13 Sept release.
Among other projects, Sailun presented its latest developments in terms of new material application and industrial internet platform to the ambassador.
In particular, the South African official was informed about Sailun’s “new generation product” developed by using liquid rubber technology (ERJ report).
In return, Sailun said, Xie Shengwen welcomed the group to invest and start business in South Africa “to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results”.
