Manufacturer cites “unprecedented increases in raw materials, energy, and logistics,” for the hike
Houston, Texas – US polymer supplier Kraton Corp. is introducing a general price hike of $330/tonne (€316/tonne) for all hydrogenated styrene block-copolymer (HSBC) products.
Subject to terms of any applicable contracts, and surcharges, the price increase will take effect 1 July, Kraton announced 15 June.
The manufacturer cited “the unprecedented increases in raw materials, energy, and logistics,” for the hike.
The price adjustment follows an increase of $440/tonne for the same products in April.
