Steinl Group appoints Martin Schürmann as managing director

Altdorf, Germany – German polymer machinery and equipment supplier Steinl Group has appointed Martin Schürmann as managing director, effective from the start of 2024.

Schürmann will manage the businesses of the Steinl Group together with Peter Steinl and Reinhard Danzer, said a 12 Oct announcement from group company LWB Steinl.

He will lead the injection moulding, automation and dosing technology activities within Steinl Group, with the mandate to “expand the business strategically.”

Schürmann had been a long-time leader at rubber moulding machine maker Klöckner Desma Elastomertechnik, which he left in March.

Steinl Group comprises seven companies specialising in: rubber and plastics machine engineering; automation technology; bioplastics compounding; industrial sealing and bonding technology; metal-punching; and roll-cutting technology.
