UK seals makers urged to participate in webinar organised by fluoropolymers supplier Chemours
Wolverhampton, UK – The UK Gasket & Sealing Association (UKGSA) is advising member companies to join an online discussion regarding the EU REACH PFAS consultation process, which ended on 25 Sept.
Fluoropolymers supplier Chemours is organising the webinar to explore the next steps in the ongoing restriction process and upcoming opportunities to get involved.
The webinar will be held on: 18 Oct at 4pm CET; and on19 Oct at 10.30am CET, with registration details available via the Chemours event link.
“While participating in the public consultation period was a critical step in the regulatory process, there is more to be done,” stated the supplier.
As well as the REACH restriction process for PFAS, the meeting will also address issues around the parallel EU F-gas revision process.
Chemours has previously created an ‘advocacy portal’ with knowledge and tools to help companies respond to the consultation.
For its part, UKGSA is encouraging its members “to keep up to date with this consultation and continue to engage in the process.”
