Current Europe chairman Hiroyuki Shioiri to serve as head of corporate planning
Hiratsuka, Japan – Yokohama Rubber Co. (YRC) has made a series of changes within its senior management team, the Japanese group announced 29 Sept.
As of 1 Nov, current chairman of Yokohama Europe, Hiroyuki Shioiri will take over as head of corporate planning division and serve as head of corporate planning department.
The Japanese group's statement did not provide information on who will replace Shioiri as chairman of Yokohama Europe.
In addition to his European leadership position, Shioiri currently serves as chairman of Yokohama Scandinavia AB, chairman of Yokohama HPT, chairman of Yokohama Iberia SA, chairman of Yokohama France SAS, president of Yokohama Suisse SA and president of Yokohama CEE Spó?ka.
Shioiri will replace Masahiro Yuki who will be in charge of corporate finance & accounting department and quality assurance, while maintaining his position as the chairman of Yokohama Rubber (China) Co., Ltd.
In addition, effective 1 Oct, YRC is promoting Shinichi Takimoto to take over the OE tire sales & marketing division in addition to his existing senior management position and leadership of the North American operations.
