Flora Susan takes up two-year tenure at Bangkok-based natural rubber organisation
Bangkok – The International Rubber Consortium (IRCo) has appointed Flora Susan as its chief executive officer, the industry body has announced.
Susan took over leadership of Bangkok-based IRCo on 1 Sept, having previously completed her duty as a trade attaché of Indonesia in the Thai capital.
The two-year presidency term will run until 31 Aug 2025 under a rotation agreement within the tripartite rubber cooperation between Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia.
IRCo said its new CEO had served at the Indonesian ministry of trade, with work experience particularly related to the rubber industry.
Susan, it added, has “vast expertise” in areas of international trade negotiation, commodity cooperation, strategic partnership and marketing strategy.
“Her leadership for IRCo is expected to further enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of its operation,” its statement added.
