Chinese tire & rubber machinery major rolls out new developments at RubberTech China in Shanghai
Shanghai, China – Chinese machinery maker Mesnac has introduced its latest developments in the field of internal mixing: automated systems said to deliver a range of benefits, including a 10% improvement in production efficiency.
As revealed at the RubberTech China expo, 4-6 Sept in Shanghai, Mesnac’s R&D teams have been focused on leveraging intelligent technology to address production and logistics issues in the mixing room.
The enhanced intelligence is supported by Mesnac’s MCC3.0 software, which is said to streamline operations to require “only one operator and one maintenance worker for each internal mixing line.”
Mesnac has also adopted a comprehensive automation approach, encompassing ancillary processes, including small chemical weighing, mixer feeding, batch-off and automated storage & retrieval.
A connected ‘logistics and automation’ system, meanwhile, it said, minimises labour requirements, while integrated data-management software generates “extensive production information” for customers.
Furthermore, by consolidating workshop management, the software provides a “transparent and digitised” internal mixing workshop environment, according to the company.
The new system advances “the interaction between individuals and machinery through intelligent operation and maintenance, intelligent production, and intelligent service scenarios,” Mesnac stated.
Among the paybacks, it added, are simplified operations, enhanced user experience and consistent equipment utilisation among different individuals.
For these developments, Mesnac employed its digital-based ‘ROC’ R&D platform, designed to deliver “continuous improvement in the stability and reliability of the whole set of equipment.”
The digital technology platform is said to transition mixer engineering products from “a traditional order-based design approach to a more efficient configuration-based design mode.”
