Tire Tracker: Yokohama AI all-season tires for Toyota SUV

Yokohama Rubber is supplying its all-season Geolandar X-CV tires as OE for Toyota Motor’s “first-ever” Grand Highlander midsize SUV, launched in North America in June. The vehicle is being fitted with 255/65R18 111H and 255/55R20 107V size tires. The tires are designed for high-speed performance and manoeuvrability, with the tread pattern optimised to provide “excellent balance between high quietness and driving performance on wet and snowy roads.” The tires, according to YRC, were developed using Yokohama Rubber’s HAICoLab, an AI-based development platform.
