Norwegian distributor was acquired by Biesterfeld in 2019
Hamburg, Germany – Lindberg & Lund AS (L&L) has changed its name to Biesterfeld Norge AS, effective 1 Sept, German parent Biesterfeld Group has announced.
Similarly, the names of L&L subsidiaries ABIC Kemi AB and Lindberg & Lund Oy have been changed to Biesterfeld Sweden AB and Biesterfeld Finland Oy respectively.
The German polymers and chemicals distributor acquired Oslo-based chemicals distributor L&L in 2019, through its Biesterfeld Spezialchemie unit.
The name-change "has no practical consequences for existing partners,” according to Peter Wilkes of Biesterfeld Group's executive board.
Biesterfeld Norge, Biesterfeld Sweden and Biesterfeld Finland, said Wilkes, will continue to supply “well-known brands [of] technical chemical products.”
Bjorn-Erik Dahlmann will lead Biesterfeld Norge while Magnus Lagerqvist and Jens Lindahl will head the Swedish and Finnish branches respectively, added the parent group.
