Essentially Rubber: Trelleborg eyes 'ready-to-use' cleanroom for food hoses

Trelleborg has recently approved to build a cleanroom at the Trelleborg service centre in Lyon, France, for “ready to use” hoses for the food industry. Food producers have certain cleaning protocols that they need to follow after receipt of hoses and before first use for food transfer. The new cleanroom solution will mean that Trelleborg can deliver “clean, 100% traceable and certified hoses” for the producers. The product will provide savings to the food producer by eliminating the initial cleaning step for the customer.
