Leading-edge designs and applications showing how elastomer materials contribute to all aspects of life and lifestyle in the 21st century:
Kraiburg TPE has introduced post-consumer recyclate-containing thermoplastic elastomers, said to meet the unique design and functionality requirements of interdental brushes – particularly for grips, handles, and tip covers. The Thermolast R-RC/FC/PCR/AP range features 9-35% recycled-content – depending on hardness – and can be customised to provide a wide range of haptics: from soft-touch and smooth or silky feel to high surface friction. According to Kraiburg TPE, “exceptional” anti-slip properties make the elastomers suitable for uses “requiring an ergonomic grip and easy manoeuvering.” Free of restricted substances, as defined by EU regulations, the TPEs conform with REACH SHVC and RoHS as well as food-contact regulatory criteria, including (FDA) CFR21. The series is available in both natural and translucent colours and can be customised into "vibrant and appealing" hues.
