Two Luxembourg-based associates killed in incident at German test track
Brussels – Goodyear EMEA has issued a statement regarding the deaths of two company employees during testing at the Nurburgring track in Germany.
“We are deeply saddened that two Luxembourg-based Goodyear associates passed away on August 9 following a vehicle incident that occurred at a test track in Germany,” said the tire maker.
“Our immediate concern is for our associates’ family and friends, as well as their co-workers in Luxembourg,” added the statement supplied 11 Aug.
According to Goodyear, the company is now assisting local authorities with investigations into the causes of the incident.
