Tire Tracker - Advanced Dunlop tires for new Toyota models

Sumitomo Rubber Industries (SRI) has started supplying its high-performance Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 060 tires for use as factory standard tires on Toyota’s all-new Alphard and Vellfire models, which were launched this June. The vehicles “offer a level of comfort that rivals that of luxury sedans,” said SRI, noting that it optimised the tread pattern and contact pressure of its tires using advanced simulation predictions. The result, it claimed, is “outstanding” noise reduction and a comfortable riding experience. Increased rigidity of the internal materials is also stated to enhance maneuverability and stability.
