Burton on Trent, UK – Dellner Polymer Solutions (DPS) has acquired Ferrabyrne Autocomp Suspension Technologies (FAST), a tier 1 parts and assemblies manufacturer based in Pune, India.
Part of the UK-based company’s growth plan, the acquisition will complement the existing teams in Littlehampton and Burton Upon Trent, said DPS, part of Sweden’s Dellner Group.
DPS expects the purchase to open up “a significant market opportunity” in India to offer vibration control rubber fabrication and bonding solutions for industries such as rail, off-highway, defence and marine.
The acquisition, said CEO Mikael Petersson, “will support the strategic growth of the business, bringing additional capabilities and skills.”
DPS said the acquisition comes at a time the Dellner Group is “experiencing an impressive period of growth and momentum” creating an enhanced offering for the global market.
“It demonstrates the ambition, commitment, and dedication to supporting new and existing clients and markets,” Petersson concluded.
FAST was established in 2015 as a JV between Autcomp Panse and Ferrabyrne Ltd, according to a Dellner announcement.
DPS acquired rubber-to-metal bonded components and rail suspension systems maker Ferrabyrne in 2022.
