Alfagomma expanding production in Brazil, China
Italian group building new Dunlop Hiflex facility in Brazil, relocating in China
Vimercate, Italy – Alfagomma Group has responded to growing demand for its products with projects to establish new production capacity in Brazil and China.
The Italian supplier of hydraulic and industrial components is building a ‘Dunlop Hiflex’ plant in Guaranésia, adjacent to the group’s Brazil headquarters.
Construction work has already started on the facility and production is scheduled to begin in 2024, according to a recent Alfagomma statement.
The new plant will be exclusively dedicated to the production of hydraulic fittings for the South American market, the company added.
In addition, Alfagomma is doubling capacity in China, having relocated production to a new factory in the rural city of Cixi in Ningbo in January 2023.
While additional production lines are still being installed, manufacturing lines for fittings, hose assemblies and manipulated tube are already in place.
