German rubber processing machinery maker has now created a managing director role for technology
Altdorf, Germany – LWB Steinl GmbH & Co. KG has expanded and reshuffled its management team as part of a move to grow business at the German-based machinery maker .
As of 1 June, LWB Steinl created a managing director role for 'technical matters', and redistributed responsibilities for global sales management, service and purchasing.
Under the rejig, Dr Clemens Behmenburg (pictured above) has joined managing partner Peter Steinl and commercial director Reinhard Danzer as the managing director technology.
In this new role, Behmenburg has a remit to develop the company's product portfolio as well as it manufacturing technologies, LWB Steinl explained 5 June.
Behmenburg studied mechanical engineering with a specialisation in plastics technology at RWTH Aachen University, where he earned his doctorate at the IKV.
From 2014, he held management positions at elastomer component producers for the automotive industry, continued the company statement.
Since April 2022 at LWB Steinl, Behmenburg has been responsible for the development of new business.
Meanwhile, Peter Radosai (pictured left), sales manager for Europe since 2009 and authorised signatory since January 2022, will take over the global sales function from managing partner Peter Steinl.
As part of this move, Peter Steinl will support Radosai, who has been with the company for the past 40 years, in an “advisory capacity”.
Furthermore, long-term employee Pascal Dorweg will take over management of the service department at the rubber processing machinery maker.
Dorweg and his team will expand the “capacities of the decentralised service network with the aim of further reducing response times.”
Dorweg succeeds Torsten Liedtke who is moving to purchasing, which he will manage together with Markus Weindl, said LWB Steinl.
