Wilson Sporting Goods has launched a new ball collection made from “more sustainable materials”. The "Gen Green" collection, inclusive of basketballs, footballs, volleyballs and soccer balls, are all made with recycled rubber, repurposed plastics and sugar-cane derived EVA. According to Wilson, the bio-polymer has never been used in its sports equipment before and generate two times less CO2 emissions than conventional polymers. The enhanced sustainability has been achieved without "comprising performance or quality for athletes to be at their best."
