Audi is factory-fitting its RS 6 Avant performance cars with 22-inch Continental SportContact 7 premium tires, the Hanover tire maker announced in May. Compared to its predecessor model, the tire reduces distances for wet-braking by 8% and dry-braking by 6% percent, while extending mileage by 17%. The tire is also said to lower rolling noise by up to 9db, by employing a special foam layer on the inside of the tread.
