Group opens second production plant, with focus on silicone-based materials
Bergamo, Italy – Italian producer of rubber, plastics and silicone products Oldrati Group has expanded in north west Turkey with the opening of a second production plant.
Located in Eskisehir, the new 60-employee facility 'has been designed with a view to doubling production in the coming months,' Oldrati said 24 May.
The operation, it said, is specialised in the production of technical articles in rubber, silicone and multi-component assembly activities.
In particular, the focus will be on the production of silicone products which, stated Oldrati, is “a speciality that is still not particularly widespread in Turkey.”
Constructed 10 years after Oldrati’s first Turkish plant in Bursa, the new unit is expected to strengthen the group's presence in the country and Middle East.
Turkey is "a country with great development potential and entrepreneurial dynamism, both for large groups and medium-sized companies,” said CEO Mauel Oldrati.
“We have chosen to double our presence in Turkey by focusing on production and skills that are new and innovative,” he added.
Based in Villongo, Bergamo, Oldrati has 14 production plants globally, supplying industries, including white goods, automotive, oil & gas, medical and food.
