Partners with Apta Resinas for sales and marketing of thermoplastic elastomers
Waldkraiburg, Germany – Kraiburg TPE has appointed Apta Resinas for the distribution of its thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) in Brazil – towards strengthening its position in South America.
Building on a relationship started in mid-2022, Kraiburg TPE officially partnered with the distributor in February for local representation in the Brazilian TPE market.
In particular, the partnership aims to increase the role of TPEs in the automotive sector, said a 27 March announcement from the German compounder.
To achieve this, Kraiburg TPE said it will provide speciality compounds featuring enhanced elasticity, processability, flexibility and adhesion to various substrates.
The collaboration, it added, will combine Apta’s regional know-how and Kraiburg TPE’s technical knowledge to make new in-roads in the automotive market.
An in-depth market analysis shows that TPEs demand is growing throughout Latin America, according to Alberto Oba, sales and marketing director for Kraiburg TPE Americas.
“To participate in it, we needed a strategic partner that would aid us in achieving our growth goals,” the regional director commented.
