Hamburg, Germany – Chemicals & polymers distributor Nordmann has established a new subsidiary to serve the Benelux (Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg) region.
Based in Capelle aan den Ijssel, The Netherlands, Nordmann Benelux BV will start operations in March, said Nordmann's 21 March announcement.
The move, it explained, is part of a growth strategy at the Hamburg-based group, which currently has subsidiaries in 24 countries.
The Benelux unit gives us "better access to this important market, where we see great potential for the future," said Dr Gerd Bergmann, managing director.
The subsidiary, he claimed, will provide suppliers with expanded sales opportunities and customers with local service and advice.
Nordmann has named Jost E. Laumeyer, “who has many years of expertise in distribution,” as managing director of the subsidiary.
Laumeyer has been global sales director plastics at Nordmann since 2018.
"Our goal is to intensify the already existing business relationships, but also to develop new partnerships,” Laumeyer stated.
