CRIA leader, chairman of CNRC and Prometeon, replaces Bai Xinping who left to take up new role at parent group
Milan, Italy – Pirelli has appointed Wang Feng, a Chinese tire and rubber industry veteran, as a board director, replacing Bai Xinping who resigned his position last month.
Wang will join the Pirelli board as a non-executive member and will part of three committees of remuneration; nominations & succession and strategies.
He graduated from Qingdao University of Science and Technology majoring in polymer materials processing machinery and also holds an MBA from China Europe International Business School.
Currently, Wang is an SVP at the China Rubber Industry Association and has been serving as the chairman Sinochem-owned tire & rubber subsidiary China National Tire & Rubber Co. (CNRC) since December last yea.
In January, Wang stepped down from his position as the CEO of Aeolus Tyre due to work needs, but remains chairman of Aeolus and Prometeon Tyre Group.
