New boss takes over at Desma China

Wuxi, China – Desma Rubber Machinery has appointed Kevin Wang as chief executive officer, effective 1 April.

He replaces Haozhong Chen, who held the position since August 2017 and is returning to the company headquarters in Germany.

Wang joined Desma in December last year and spent a four-month training process as co-managing director before taking the helm at the company.

He has over 17 years of experience in the rubber and plastics machinery industry and most recently served as VP sales at Engel's Chinese subsidiary, WinTec.

Haozhong Chen will remain as director of Desma China and will “continue to support the management team from Germany.”

He will also take over the role of director global strategy and change management at the German headquarters, and will be responsible for business development, global sourcing, organisational development and corporate culture within the group.
