Anti-dumping and countervailing duties originally imposed in March 2017
Washington – The US International Trade Commission is reviewing anti-dumping and countervailing duties on certain new pneumatic off-road tires originating in India.
The duties were originally imposed in March 2017 and the review will investigate whether they should be continued, said the ITC in a Federal Register announcement in February.
“The commission is conducting reviews… to determine whether revocation of the orders would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to the domestic industry within a reasonably foreseeable time,” said the ITC.
The duties were originally imposed following petitions from Titan Tire Corp. and the United Steelworkers union.
They included an anti-dumping rate of 3.67% industry-wide and countervailing duties of 4.72% to 5.36% on specific companies.
