University of Edinburgh to host the event in May next year
London – Abstract submissions are now open for RubberCon 2023, which will be held at the University of Edinburgh on 10-11 May next year, the organisers have announced.
The event will cover seven themes of: elastomer product innovations; material developments; material processing; sustainability; smart materials; modelling as well as characterisation and testing of materials and products.
Prospective authors are invited to submit abstracts of up to 300 words for consideration for the programme, said a 2 Feb announcement by the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining which is organising the event on behalf of the Rubber in Engineering Group.
The abstract must provide sufficient information for a fair assessment including the objective of the paper, the methodology used and the conclusions or results of the work. The abstract must be written in English
The two-day event is part of the RubberCon series held by the International Rubber Conference Organisation.
The conference will offer a mix of presentations chosen from peer-reviewed abstracts and will focus on the use of elastomers and elastomeric materials for a wide range of products and applications.
