John Thomas will replace Roy Bromfield, who will retire in July 2021
Hyogo, Japan – Toyo Tire Corp. has named automotive aftermarket industry veteran John Thomas to lead its US subsidiary Toyo Tire USA Corp..
Effective 1 May, Thomas will take over as the CEO and president of the Cypress, California-based subsidiary, Toyo announced in a statement 26 April.
He will replace Roy Bromfield, who will retire in July 2021. He will report to Tatsuo Mitsuhata, chairman of the board of Toyo Tire USA.
Thomas has a BSc from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Thomas has an extensive experience in the automotive industry, having served for nearly 30 years for the German car parts manufacturer Webasto.
Prior to joining Toyo, he was the CEO of Advanced Automotive Advisors, a Los Angeles-based consulting firm focused on helping organisations achieve profitability.
