Linglong sharpens focus on ‘green and intelligent’ manufacturing

Zhaoyuan City, China – Linglong Tire is sharpening its focus on ‘green and intelligent manufacturing’ as it eyes further global growth.

During a global equipment supplier conference 2 April, which coincided with the group’s 50th anniversary, Linglong outlined its ambitions to advance automation, unmanned operations, digitalisation, and intelligent equipment.

In a 3 April statement, Linglong said the conference discussed the “blueprint for new project construction and explored the development path of low-carbon smart manufacturing”.

Addressing the event, chairman Wang Feng said Linglong was working on developing a setup based on ‘integrated management with localised factories.’

The group, he added, is exploring four new factory models to create “a green and low-carbon world-class factory.”

Wang Feng also called for ‘deepening cooperation’ with partners to further develop energy-saving and low-carbon production and create “a high-precision, high-efficiency, and high-quality machinery system.”
