Tansu Isik to replace Jochen Etzel who is retiring as CEO of Continental Tire the Americas
Hanover, Germany – Continental Tires has appointed Tansu Isik as CEO of Continental Tire the Americas LLC, to replace Dr Jochen Etzel who is retiring 1 May.
The appointment also includes the role of head of Continental’s ‘business area replacement tires the Americas’, reporting directly to head of Continental Tires Christian Koetz.
Isik has over two decades of experience within Continental’s tire business, including in marketing, supply-chain, strategy, and account management.
He currently serves as head of region south & channels fleet and OE trailer for Continental's replacement tire business in the EMEA region.
In this role, Isik leads Continental’s truck tire business in EMEA, and is responsible for its retread and digital solutions business in the region.
Prior to that he worked as head of marketing replacement tire EMEA.
Isik holds an executive MBA from Koc University and has studies at institutions including INSEAD, Duke University, and Ashridge University.
