Datwyler joins Circular Rubber Platform to enhance carbon-reduction strategy

Swiss manufacturer says it will "intensify” commitment to environmentally friendly output
Altdorf, Switzerland – Elastomer components manufacturer Datwyler has become the newest member of the Circular Rubber Platform sustainability initiative.
In its 3 March release, the firm said it was intensifying its commitment to carbon footprint reduction “through a more environmentally friendly elastomer production.”
The Circular Rubber Platform promotes environmental initiatives and recycling in the elastomer industry.
The Circular Rubber Platform is an online community of rubber specialists and companies, that come together on the topic of rubber circularity.
Since its creation in late 2023, the group’s membership has grown to include 81 companies and three universities.
"We source the latest developments in rubber recycling and biobased raw materials, and share them centrally on the platform and during interactive webinars," explains the platform.
