Yokohama TWS strengthens EMEA operations with Turkish subsidiary

Off-highway tire maker says Turkey a 'key market', particularly in agriculture tire sector
Rome – Off-highway tire maker Yokohama TWS has opened a new subsidiary in Turkey as part of an expansion drive to support its “local-for-local” strategy.
Based in Istanbul, Yokohama TWS Turkey Lastik Sanayi ve Ticaret A?, has been operational since the beginning of the year and will focus on addressing the demands of the Turkish market, said the company 4 Feb.
The subsidiary will provide “responsive and personalised” service to OEMs, dealers and other industry professionals in the country.
According to the Yokohama TWS statement, Turkey plays “a central role” in the EMEA off-highway tire market.
The country, it added, is “a key area for Yokohama TWS, especially within the agricultural tire sector.”
The new entity will create closer connections with local OEMs and dealers, ensuring faster delivery times and offering multi-brand tire solutions.
