Names Lawrence Harmon as new regional boss to drive growth in replacement market
Tivoli, Italy – Yokohama TWS has named Lawrence Harmon as regional president north and central America (NCA), effective 1 Jan.
In his new role, Harmon will be responsible for driving the NCA business strategy, leading market growth, and further developing the commercial team, said Yokohama TWS 6 Jan.
He will report directly to Elio Bartoli, who took over as the president of Yokohama TWS at the beginning of the year.
Upon taking the position, Harmon said his priority will be on enhancing collaboration with the replacement sales network.
“With a strong presence in the OE market in North America, we look forward to working with our dealer network to achieve similar levels of share in the aftermarket,” said Harmon.
To achieve that, he said, Yokohama TWS will leverage its multi-brand portfolio to provide solutions to various markets, including agriculture, construction, material handling, and two-wheeler markets.
Lawrence brings over 30 years of experience in the tire industry and was most recently president, global OE business at Yokohama ATG.
Prior to that, he served as EVP marketing & sales at the Carlstar Group, as well as in senior executive positions at Michelin.
