Mampaey Offshore Industries produces berthing and mooring systems and ship-to-shore safety links for LNG transfer
Trelleborg, Sweden - Trelleborg Industrial Solutions (TIS) has acquired Mampaey Offshore Industries, a Dutch-based manufacturer of specialist solutions for the marine industry.
With operations based in Dordrecht, The Netherlands, Mampaey produces berthing and mooring systems and ship-to-shore safety links for LNG transfer.
Mampaey generated revenues of SEK170 million (€15 million) in 2023, according to Trelleborg's press announcement issued 12 Dec.
The move strengthens the TIS position in the growing marine and LNG industries, said Jean-Paul Mindermann, business area president, Trelleborg Industrial Solutions.
The acquired business will enable Trelleborg's sealing products unit to offer customers “a comprehensive range of safety-critical solutions,” added Mindermann.
The transaction was consolidated as of 12 Dec.
