Rubber group's afternoon technical discussion meeting will provide insights into the future of elastomers in healthcare
London – UK-based IOM3 Elastomer Group is holding its final afternoon technical discussion meeting (ATDM) of the year on elastomers in biomedical devices.
The event, jointly hosted with the IOM3 Biomedical Applications Group & IOM3 Polymer Group, will be held 13 Dec, at the group’s central London headquarters and can be attended in person or online.
The ATDM will explore the latest innovations and advancements in elastomer technology, providing insights into the future of elastomers in healthcare, said IOM3.
Speakers lined up for the event include:
Frederik Claeyssens (University of Sheffield)- Porous elastomeric polymers for soft tissue engineering;
Laurence Brassart (University of Oxford) - Modelling of biodegradable polymers and hydrogels for biomedical applications;
Lucy Bosworth (University of Liverpool) - Stretchable and flexible: creating fibre scaffolds for biomedical applications using electrohydrodynamic techniques;
Anne Ladegaard Skov (Technical University of Denmark) - Soft and shape-adapting silicone foam for chronic and acute wound treatment.#
