Combines expertise for tire & rubber industry, with that for polyolefins and food sectors...
Friedrichshafen, Germany – Zeppelin Systems has opened a new facility at its competence centre in Reggio Emilia, Italy, the industrial plant manufacturer has announced.
The 5,000m2 unit, it said, ‘expands production capacities and pools expertise for the tire and rubber industry, with that for the polyolefins and food sectors.’
Zeppelin has been highly active in the Italian market over recent years, particularly following the German group’s acquisition of Nuova Ciba in 2018,
Over that time, the German group has steadily expanded its services for the rubber & tire segment in Italy, leveraging its position as a global supplier of turnkey systems for elastomer compounding.
The new premises in Reggio Emilia will benefit our customers, suppliers and employees, according to Marco Ferrari, managing director of Zeppelin Systems Italy.
‘Customers will benefit from the even faster availability of spare parts, among other things, as we are also introducing a new warehouse system,’ stated Ferrari.
