Indonesia supplier delivering EUDR-compliant rubber to Europe

Kirana Megatara expects all factories to be exporting compliant products to various EU countries by July
Jakarta – Indonesian supplier PT Kirana Megatara Tbk (KM) has reported the “successful shipment” of European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR)-compliant natural rubber to the EU.
The inaugural shipment of standard Indonesian rubber was sent to the European market on 31 May from PT New Kalbar Processors, Pontianak, West Kalimantan, KM reproted 12 June.
The move “signifies the company's readiness to meet demanding EUDR requirements,” said KM, noting that 13 of its 14 factories are now producing compliant products.
KM added that is set to complete its “comprehensive” compliance strategy, with the 14th factory scheduled to commence shipments by July.
“By aligning production practices with environmental responsibility, KM said it had “enhanced its global competitiveness [and] contributed positively to the broader sustainability agenda.”
