Acquisition part of group's strategy to grow in water and sewage infrastructure market
Trelleborg, Sweden – Trelleborg Group has finalised the previously announced acquisition of Finnish pipe-repair specialist BP-Tech Group.
Based in Rajamaki, BP-Tech Group specialises in ‘trenchless pipe repair’ including liners, resins and equipment, and includes brands such as Boldan and Spraypoxy.
The pipe-repair group reported sales of just over SEK220 million (€19 million) across 24 countries in 2023, Trelleborg announced 8 May.
According to Trelleborg, the business has “a strong portfolio including a proprietary spray-in-place solution and offers industry leading contractor training.”
The acquisition is part of Trelleborg's strategy to grow in the expanding water and sewage infrastructure market. (ERJ report)
