DESMA Elastomertechnik announces departure of MD

Fridingen, Germany – The commercial managing director of Klöckner DESMA Elastomertechnik GmbH, Siegfried Köhler has “left the company at his own request” as of 15 April, DESMA has announced.

Parent group Salzgitter AG had appointed Köhler (pictured right) as managing director, service and sales, of the rubber moulding machinery maker in October 2023. (ERJ report)

“Due to unexpected private circumstances, Siegfried Köhler feels compelled to cease his activities as managing director of DESMA Elastomertechnik with immediate effect, the company stated.

Dr. Michael Zaun (pictured left), managing director of DESMA since September 2022, is to take over Köhler's business responsibilities on an interim basis until a successor is appointed.
