Yokohama TWS raises prices across tire portfolio
Price hikes to include Mitas and Trelleborg branded tires, the Japanese tire maker has announced
Tivoli, Italy – Yokohama TWS is raising the prices of its tires by up to 5% across all segments, the Japanese group announced 12 April.
The price adjustment will come into effect from May and will cover Mitas and Trelleborg branded tires, the statement added.
Yokohama TWS said the decision was a response to “significant inflation experienced over the past two years.
This, it explained, included rising costs of raw materials, as well as increased inbound logistics expenses.”
The group said it would communicate specific details regarding the price increases directly to customers.
