Tayte French Lutz succeeds her father as leader of US-based rubber & process equipment maker
Piqua, Ohio – French Oil Mill Machinery Co. has appointed Tayte French Lutz as vice chair and CEO, the US equipment maker has announced.
With the appointment, French Lutz succeeds her father Daniel French, who is taking over as the chairman of the board at the Ohio-based company.
French Lutz, who previously served as VP, represents the fourth generation of leadership within the family that founded French Oil Mill Machinery in 1900.
She is a graduate of Tulane University and the Harvard Business School owner/president management programme.
French Lutz joined French Oil Mill Machinery as marketing coordinator in 2010, after years of working in the fashion industry.
She has since held a variety of senior roles in the business, from marketing, brand-management and community-involvement to operations and strategic planning.
French Oil Mill Machinery supplies a range of equipment for the rubber industry, including mixers, moulders, presses and drying/dewatering machinery.
