Manja Greimeier replaces David O’Donnell who is now in charge of replacement tires global R&D
Hanover, Germany – Continental AG has appointed Manja Greimeier as head of its Tires Group OE business area, effective 1 Aug.
She is replacing David O’Donnell who recently took over responsibility for global R&D for Continental’s passenger car tire replacement business, the German group announced 30 Aug.
In her new role, Greimeier is responsible for the global OE business for passenger car and commercial tires and reports to Christian Koetz, head of Continental Tires.
According to the German group, Greimeier’s career in the automotive industry began 20 years ago in finance and project management.
The business graduate joined Continental in 2017, where she worked with the Automotive group sector, heading sales and customer project management for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Most recently, she was responsible for the entire ADAS business unit.
“Her [Greimeier’s] proven expertise in the original equipment business is excellent preparation for her new role,” said Koetz.
Thanking O’Donnell, Koetz said he started designing OE tires for electric vehicles, “consistently and successfully opening up new growth markets in the process.”
