Finnish tire maker has started process to recruit successor
Nokia, Finland – Nokian Tyres’ chief financial officer Teemu Kangas-Karki "has decided to leave" the group at the end of November, the Finnish tire maker announced 30 Aug.
Nokian has launched a recruitment process for Kangas-Karki’s successor, with Jari Huuhtanen, VP group business control, serving as SVP, finance and treasury in the interim.
“Teemu has been a valuable member in the Nokian Tyres team, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors,” says Jukka Moisio, president and CEO of Nokian Tyres.
Kangas-Karki has been part of the leadership team guiding Nokian through the recent upheaval and restructuring prompted by the group's exit from Russia.
He joined Nokian as CFO in 2018, having previously held senior financial roles at consumer goods and retail companies in Europe and the US.
