Triton selling German-based rubber & plastics hose manufacturer to another equity firm
Gelsenkirchen, Germany - Triton Smaller Mid-Cap (TSM) Fund is to sell industrial hose maker Norres Baggerman Group to Nalka DACH Investments SA SICAF-RAIF, Triton announced 30 March.
Gelsenkirchen-based Norres Baggerman principally serves industries including agriculture, food & pharma, plastics, wood processing, robotics and fluid applications, as well as power engineering.
With around 400 employees, the supplier of rubber, PE, PU and PVC hoses operates six manufacturing plants - in Germany, China, US, Italy (2), and Switzerland.
Under its ownership since 2018, Triton said Norres Baggerman “developed into a European market leader in the manufacturing and technical installation of industrial hose systems.”
This progress, it noted, included three acquisitions, around 10% annual organic growth and increased its sales by more than 170% to exceed €100 million.

Founded in 1889, Norres Baggerman focusses on the development, production and sales of branded industrial hoses used for pneumatic conveying of different media.
Nalka is focusses on investing in market-leading small and medium-sized businesses based in the Nordic and DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) regions.
Part of Swiss-based Interogo Holding, the firm’s current portfolio consists of 10 portfolio companies with combined sales of more than €2 billion.
