“Leading US oil company” places order valued at €415k
Stockholm – Waste tire recycler Scandinavian Enviro Systems has received a follow-up order for pyrolysis oil, with an approximate value of SEK4.7 million (€415,000).
The order, said Enviro 2 Feb, is being made by a subsidiary of “a leading US oil company” that submitted an initial order in February last year to conduct production tests.
Enviro expects to complete the delivery of the new order in about a year, starting in March.
The oil will be recovered from end-of-life vehicle tires at Enviro’s plant in Åsensbruk, where the company produces recovered carbon black and pyrolysis oil from waste tires.
It will be “the same type” as the company ordered last year, explained CEO Thomas Sörensson.
According to Sorensson, the oil from the initial order was used for production tests to determine how suitable it was for the production of various biofuels.
In November last year, Enviro announced that the testing had "yielded good results".
Enviro said that the pricing of the order will be based on current market prices in connection with delivery.
At present, it went on to say, Enviro believes that the total value of the order will amount to approximately SEK 4.7 million.
Enviro’s recovered pyrolysis oil and recovered carbon black produced at Åsensbruk have been certified in accordance with the global sustainability certification system ISCC.
